Patch Notes 11/14/2020


Fixed

  • Vault puzzle overhauled, buggy plug-in removed. Instead of throwing statues, now you push and sneak past statues. 
  • Vault puzzle screen saturation bugs resolved. 
  • Tileset shenanigans w sitting on couches has been fixed. 

Etc

  • Kuntze Bakery now has NPCs. 
  • Cats can no longer be picked up and thrown, due to throwing plug-in removal. This mechanic was kind of obsolete since sneaking was added anyway. Now I can customize cat varieties much easier. 
  • Randomly Generated NPCs now sit properly in chairs
  • MIU (Mobile Investigation Unit) now has a flashing ring when you're nearby, for added visual clarity for new players. 
  • NPCs now generate in pub bathroom after Herb Magley has been allied. 
  • New mini-game mechanic being tested, can access from Debug Menu. 

Known Bugs

  • B-Side Phantoms can slip past statues while you're sneaking. 
  • Randomly Generated NPCs stop movement while sneaking. 

To Do

  • I want to implement a Credits screen, but so far every plugin I've found is woefully out-of-date and broken. 
  • Implement different behavior for cat varieties. 
  • Implement Jim Pickel's dialogue engine.
